He is a British photographer who was born in East London. He shot for vogue several times, who then he became very eager to experiment with his work. He was an assistant for John French fashion photographer who used the white background which then he began to work for Daily Express which Vogue saw who and then offered him job. He was interested in an 'outsider' working for vogue.Bailey worked at vogue and his audience became younger. He understood the coded language of the fashion and clothes. He started photographing and developing when he was young which he was attracted by magical chemical process. His influences were Visconti and Picasso,
